M50 Art Industrial Park is a cultural and creative brand which is the core values of art, creativity and life. It is a flagship store of M50 Brand Park. The predecessor of M50 is Xinhe Cotton Mill.  Covering a land area of about 41mu (1mu = 666.7m2), the Garden is located at No. 50 Moganshan Road, southern bank of Suzhou River, Putuo District.  As one of the cradles of the Chinese national industry, the site of the Park boasts a cluster of industrial buildings built in different periods ranging from 1930s to 1990s with a total floor area of 43,000m2, which is the part of Shanghai M50 Cultural and Creative Industry Development Co.,Ltd.

M50 Art Industry Park is one of the earliest creative industry cluster areas in Shanghai and one of Shanghai’s biggest and most influential creative gardens. It has been entitled “Shanghai’s First Creative Industry Cluster Areas”, “the Top 10 Outstanding Creative Industry Cluster Areas in Shanghai”, “National Industrial Tourism Demonstration Spot”, "AAA Level Tourism Spot"and “Shanghai’s First Cultural Industry Parks”.  The Park has successively brought in 140 odd studios, galleries of artists,and other kinds of creative agencies from more than 20 countries and regions including Britain, France and Italy which covers various fields of art, design, creativity and culture.

In recent years, M50 Design Alliance, M50 Annual Cutting-edge Selection, M50 Creative and Design Incubator and other derivative business have gradually become the core plate of M50 brand building for the future development.  As a brand which transformed from the traditional industries, grew up in the national industry old plants and developed in Shanghai new round of industrial restructuring, M50 is gradually becoming a synonym of art, creativity and life during nearly 10 years accumulation.
