As we embrace the 2020 Chinese New Year, the Information Office of Shanghai Municipality will hold the 2020 Chinese New Year Celebration Party for the Press at 6:00 pm, January 16 (Thursday), to extend our appreciation and season’s greetings to you. At this year’s event, we will invite Shanghai-based foreign correspondents and those from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, heads of major local media outlets and local bureaus of state-level media agencies, as well as spokespersons for some districts and city government departments.

We cordially invite your correspondent in Shanghai to attend the party, which includes a pre-dinner reception and a formal banquet. We will also hold a special session at the reception, during which you can experience traditional Chinese culture and enjoy the products displayed by the makers of Shanghai’s old brands.
