Shanghai Daning International Tea City is a tea culture city integrating tea trading and tea art exchanges. It is also the first tea wholesale market in Shanghai, with a total construction area of ??40,000 square meters. Completed in 1996, Shanghai Daning International Tea City has attracted more than 300 merchants to settle in, gathering more than a thousand kinds of tea and tea sets in China, and has good trade relations with foreign businesses in the UK, Russia, Japan, South Korea, India and Southeast Asia. .

Shanghai Daning International Tea City features the display of tea culture. In order to popularize and inherit the knowledge of tea culture, such as tea identification, tea tasting, tea appreciation, and tea art, the Tea City has established a tea culture exhibition hall, a calligraphy exhibition hall, and a Suzhou garden-style outdoor tea bar, organizes music performances of guzheng and guqin, showcases the brewing process of Kung Fu tea, the “traditional Dian Cha (whisking tea)” technique of the Song Dynasty, and holds tea art lectures.

Relying on the background of tea culture, the Tea City has opened a white-collar service station. White-collar groups can hold regular joint meetings here, enjoy tea art performances, exchange tea art and taste specialty foods of the origin of tea. In addition, the Tea City also invites teachers to lead white-collar workers to learn about intangible cultural heritage and skills such as dark-red enameled pottery, ancient brick rubbing works, paper-cutting, ancient coins, etc., to create an urban public space with a fusion of cultures.
