上海至斯德哥尔摩直飞航班时隔六年重启 2026-06-23
China Eastern Airlines resumed direct flights between Shanghai and the Swedish capital Stockholm on Monday after a six-year suspension, as an Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft from Shanghai landed at Stockholm Arlanda Airport in the evening.
The aircraft later departed for Shanghai Pudong International Airport with more than 250 passengers on board, marking the official relaunch of the route.
The service will operate three times a week, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the airline said. The restored direct flights are expected to reduce transit time and improve travel convenience for passengers between China and Sweden.
China Eastern Airlines and Swedavia Airports, the Swedish state-owned airport operator, held a ceremony at Stockholm Arlanda Airport to mark the resumption of the route. Passengers received commemorative gifts, including snacks and stationery.
Elizabeth Axtelius, director of aviation business at Swedavia Airports, said the route was of great significance and that its return had long been awaited in Sweden.
She said the resumed service would further facilitate business, tourism and people-to-people exchanges between China and Sweden, as well as between China and Europe, while supporting trade cooperation, cultural exchange and travel links.
