游戏展ChinaJoy今年吸引创纪录观众   2026-08-04

The 23rd China Digital Entertainment Expo and Conference, better known as ChinaJoy, has attracted a record number of visitors, with more than 900 companies from 35 countries and regions participating in the event.

About 438,900 visitors attended the four-day ChinaJoy in Shanghai that ended on July 3, up 7 percent from last year, according to data released by the organizers. About 65 percent of them were aged 18 to 29. Professional visitors reached 44,000, setting another record, with 21 percent of them being foreigners.

This year's ChinaJoy expanded beyond anime and gaming, Yicai noticed. While gaming companies, such as Tencent Holdings and NetEase, remained the main exhibitors, more diverse enterprises participated this time, including humanoid robot and auto manufacturers.

Moreover, a Vision Future exhibition area was introduced, focusing on cutting-edge technology for the first time. It showcases intelligent robots, artificial intelligence models, and smart wearable technologies, featuring over a dozen companies in the robotics sector, including Unitree Robotics and Swancor Advanced Materials.

Yunmu Intelligent Manufacturing Technology's humanoid robots are mainly designed to serve scenic spots and cultural tourism business-end clients, the company's sales director said. However, the young consumers gathered at ChinaJoy will likely become an important user base for robot consumption in the future, he noted.

Qiyuan focuses on personal robots for everyday use, a staffer at Swancor's robot brand said. ChinaJoy, which attracts a large number of young users, content creators, and tech enthusiasts, serves as a critical platform for gauging the customer-end market, validating product demand, and building public brand awareness, they added.

During ChinaJoy, Qiyuan launched two limited-edition robots in partnership with Blizzard Entertainment's massively multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft, combining the game's intellectual property with robotic hardware. Qiyuan hopes to leverage this established IP to quickly reach core players.

Smart cars also made an appearance at ChinaJoy. For example, BYD showcased vehicles adorned with anime IP designs and smart cockpits, allowing visitors to sit inside and experience in-car gaming.
