BeOne与美国革命医药公司结盟，共同评估新型RAS靶向癌症药物 2026-08-11
Biopharmaceutical giant BeOne Medicines has joined hands with Revolution Medicines to evaluate novel combination therapies targeting RAS-addicted cancers, securing the exclusive rights to four of the US company's innovative RAS(ON) inhibitors in clinical trials across multiple Asian countries.
BeOne and Revolution Medicines will carry out in-depth clinical cooperation, jointly assessing combination treatments integrating the former's oncology candidate drugs that are in clinical trials with one or more of the four RAS(ON) inhibitors, the Beijing-based company announced late yesterday.
BeOne received the rights to develop and commercialize the four RAS(ON) in China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, New Zealand, Thailand, Vietnam, and other Asian markets, it said, adding the licensed territories cover a population of around 2 billion.
The regional licensing agreement will fully leverage BeOne's global fast-track clinical development capabilities and mature commercial layout advantages, providing more innovative treatment options for patients with refractory tumors, said co-founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer John Oyler.
Revolution Medicines is eligible to receive clinical development and sales milestone payments, as well as tiered royalties based on net sales, BeOne noted, without disclosing financial details.
Among the four drugs, Daraxonrasib, a multi-selective RAS(ON) inhibitor, stands out as the star innovative candidate showcased at the American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting in the first half of this year.
Daraxonrasib extended the median overall survival of patients with advanced pancreatic cancer to 13.2 months from 6.7 months during Phase III clinical trials, a landmark breakthrough in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma treatment over the past decades, Revolution Medicines said.
The US Food and Drug Administration has accepted the new drug application for Daraxonrasib with the indication for previously treated metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
Shares of BeOne closed 0.2 percent higher at CNY300.30 (USD44.50) in Shanghai today, after earlier jumping by as much as 5 percent. Its Hong Kong-traded stock rose 2.63 percent to HKD219 (USD27.90) as of 3.55 p.m.
