从马戏表演、科技购物到传统地标:上海展现黄金周的活力   2026-10-07

Shanghai demonstrated strong holiday vitality during the National Day Golden Week, drawing diverse crowds of domestic and international visitors across its premier cultural, tech, and waterfront hubs. At Shanghai Circus World, the iconic ERA - Intersection of Time mark’s over 20 years of continuous runs with 13 holiday performances and two brand-new acrobatic acts, attracting an international audience proportion of up to 50%. Meanwhile, construction on the nearby 800-seat Shanghai Circus World Medium Theater—dubbed the "Clown Hat"—is nearing completion, paving the way for tech-infused circus performances co-developed with local technology enterprises next spring. Along the West Bank waterfront, sunny post-rain weather drove high foot traffic to both dining venues and tech-retail spaces.

At the nearby Modelology Space, a 500-square-meter AI experience store averaged 800 daily visitors exploring over 300 categories of AI products, with a stringless AI guitar emerging as the top-asked item among beginners and families. As night fell, foreign and domestic tourists flocked to the iconic Bund, where local authorities deployed specialized crowd-control measures, including south-in, north-out directional flows and dynamic "zipper" pedestrian crossings, to safely manage peak surge crowds reaching 40,000 visitors.
