首届虹桥科技周吸引全球企业、投资者齐聚上海 2026-10-08

The first Hongqiao Tech Week will bring global technology companies, investors and industry professionals to Shanghai next month as the city seeks to connect international innovation with Chinese markets.
The three-day event will be held from November 20 to 22 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Organizers expect more than 30,000 professional visitors and 200-plus speakers.
It will cover six areas: artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, future mobility and energy, Industry 4.0 (combining advanced technology with human skills), life sciences and health, and startups.
The tech week will also offer more than 2,000 targeted business matchmaking sessions. Organizers said they will match companies before the event based on their business needs.
Athena Gong, vice president of Informa Markets Asia, said the event aims to bring global technologies to China's large industrial markets, where they can find customers, partners and paths to market.
Gong said the event will also help Chinese technology companies expand overseas.
The tech week will cover about 50,000 square meters and feature six main stages, more than 200 conferences and forums, and over 30 interactive activities.
Companies that have registered include Huawei, Alibaba, Xiaomi and XPeng, as well as international firms and organizations such as BASF, Deloitte, Dell Technologies, Rockwell Automation and SK Telecom.
The event is organized by Informa Markets China, part of London-based Informa, a global business-to-business events and digital services group. The company also runs London Tech Week, ATxEnterprise in Singapore and Africa Tech Festival.
Hongqiao Tech Week will be the first stop in China for the group's global technology platform. Informa and the Hongqiao International Central Business District plan to develop the event over three years, with a goal of creating a "London in spring, Hongqiao in autumn" model for global technology communities.
The Hongqiao International Central Business District serves as a link between international markets and the Yangtze River Delta region. The business district has more than 25,000 technology service companies, 1,183 high-tech enterprises and 785 specialized and innovative firms.
The event will also highlight the delta region's technology and manufacturing capabilities. A dedicated exhibition area will showcase its manufacturing and research strengths.
The tech week is expected to support Shanghai's efforts to build an international technology innovation center and international exhibition hub.
