上海青浦区假日期间吸引大量游客 2026-10-11

Shanghai's Qingpu district received over 2.37 million tourist visits during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, showcasing its strong appeal for global visitors seeking diverse cultural tourism experiences.
The district welcomed nearly 1.83 million tourist visits and generated a total tourism revenue of more than 2.03 billion yuan ($303.68 million) during the seven-day National Day holiday, up 14.1 percent and 16.12 percent year-on-year, respectively.
Earlier in late September, the three-day Mid-Autumn Festival holiday drew about 552,000 tourist visits in the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, with tourism revenue reaching 663 million yuan, according to the district's official data.
Among the diverse cultural tourism offerings was the 2026 Waterside Melodies, a two-day music event wrapping up on Wednesday at the district's Shangda Central Park South Garden. Featuring renowned composer and conductor Tan Dun, tenor Shi Yijie, Shanghai Opera House Orchestra and Shanghai Rainbow Chamber Singers, the event drew large crowds of music fans from across the nation.

In addition, a wide range of nearly 70 special activities were held across the district over the holidays, including light shows, cultural performances, themed and night tours, folk shows, rural experiences, shopping events and intangible cultural heritage practices.
Zhujiajiao ancient town, one of the district's must-visits, particularly drew a large crowd of overseas visitors during the holidays. Blending its traditional cultural charm with intangible cultural heritage activities such as Kunqu Opera and street acrobatics, the town received over 400,000 tourists from across the world during the holidays.
