Palace to shut for repairs
Shanghai West Cultural Palace on Caoyang Road in Putuo District, a popular spot for outings and entertainment for the locals, is being shut for renovation, district officials said yesterday. The structure, which was built in 1959, has worn over time and desperately needs repairs.
