An exhibition featuring fashion brands and products made in Shanghai was held recently in Osaka, attracting Japanese designers and consumers with Chinese beauty and innovation.

With a focus on "Made in Shanghai", the exhibition made its overseas debut from May 21 to 25, showcasing the city's lifestyle and facilitating the matchmaking of suppliers and customers. It gathered 90 Shanghai local fashion brands and over 1,000 pieces of exhibits, covering a wide range of sectors such as costumes, cosmetics, foods, sportswear, smart devices, and handicrafts.

Cultural blocks and industrial parks, such as Yuyuan Road in Shanghai's Changning district and the Oriental Beauty Valley, also joined the exhibition with their brand groups to showcase their innovation and ecosystem, aiming to enhance business expansion and promote international cooperation in fashion and consumption sectors.

Notably, the event also featured a flash sale of products from Chinese designers. The original designs from China generated strong appeal and drew large crowds of visitors including local government officials, boutique store owners, entertainment stars, designers, VIP customers, and internet influencers.

During the event, designers, brand and business owners were also actively seeking local partners to expand their footprints in Japan, looking to pave the way for Shanghai creative brands and services to get into the market and realize localized operation.
