SA Yiming, the first policeman from Shanghai to patrol the streets of Milan, Italy, returned home yesterday afternoon.
During a two-week program that saw China and Italy collaborate “to make Chinese tourists feel safe,” Sa, together with his three colleagues from China, worked alongside Italian patrol officers every day to combat crime.
“I feel proud to have worked in a foreign country as a policeman to protect and serve not only my fellow countrymen but also people from other countries,” said Sa.
