SHANGHAI and neighboring Suzhou City in east China's Jiangsu Province will be connected by Metro.

Shanghai's under-construction Metro Line 17 will be linked with Metro Line 4 in Suzhou at the Fenhu Transportation Hub station, according to a plan published on the website of Wujiang District in Suzhou. Another Metro line in Suzhou, the S1 line, will extend to Huaqiao Station in Kunshan in the same province. Commuters can transfer to Shanghai's Metro Line 11.
