App tells when buses will come
A mobile phone application that tells when buses and Metro trains are going to arrive has been introduced by the Shanghai Transport Commission.
People can also use the app to find the shortest routes by public transport to their destinations.
The information’s accuracy rate is around 96 percent, the traffic authority said. The app, called Shanghai Gongjiao, can keep track of the nearest bus and shows where the closest bus stops are.
