Australian pavilion in FTZ protects its trademark
The Australian National Pavilion in Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone has registered its trademark both in China and Australia.
The pavilion, set up with support from both countries' governments, is designed as a platform to boost exchanges and cooperation between China and Australia in economy, culture, science and technology, and tourism.
To prevent unauthorized use of its name by businesses for illegal activities, the pavilion operator decided to register the trademark in both countries.
