English language service is being offered at downtown railway station and shopping malls in preparation for the first China International Import Expo, to be hosted in Shanghai this November.
The Shanghai South Railway Station has begun offering bilingual language service at three visitor counters to foreign passengers during the event, said Ji Jun, a senior service staff member at the station.
Twenty newly recruited graduates from local universities are staffing the counters.
