Legal help for foreign exhibitors
A legal service center was established on Wednesday by Shanghai Judicial Bureau and Shanghai Bar Association to help foreign companies learn about laws and policies in China during and after the China International Import Expo.
About 20 local lawyers who are fluent in English, Japanese or French will be stationed at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, where the expo will be held in November.
Zhou Tianping, deputy director of Shanghai Bar Association, said 24 lawyers, who are extremely experienced in cross-border legal services and fluent in foreign languages, will help overseas exhibitors enter Chinese market.
