If you are caught out, expo court can assist
Qingpu District People’s Court has set up a tribunal at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, with a bilingual website, ahead of the upcoming China International Import Expo.
Shanghai Qingpu District People’s Court West Hongqiao People’s Tribunal will mainly handle civil and commercial cases. It will continue to operate after the expo ends.
Officials said it aims to become an international commercial tribunal which respects and adapts international economic and trade rules in accordance with Chinese laws and will give equal protection to both domestic and overseas commercial bodies.
