华为发布两款AI 芯片 - 2018年10月12日

Huawei Technologies released two artificial intelligence-featured sever chips yesterday to integrate with data center and cloud services, underlining the company's strategy to take its smartphone success into the enterprise market.

Huawei's Ascend series chips are seen as rivals to Nvidia and Google’s TPU (Tensor Processing Unit), the world's most powerful chips.

But Eric Xu, Huawei's rotating chairman, said in Shanghai that China's largest telecommunications gear and mobile phone maker would not sell independent AI chips but bundle them with enterprises services like the cloud.
