Six urban management and law enforcement teams serving the China International Import Expo were established on Tuesday and an emergency drill was conducted.
They will safeguard key areas of the expo site, including areas near the National Exhibition and Convention Center, the Hongqiao business hub, and the Hongqiao transportation hub, according to the Shanghai Urban Management and Law Enforcement Bureau.
They will also implement a three-tier emergency response system around the clock targeting illegal street stalls and flyers that seriously affect city sanitation and the environment, as well as violence against law enforcement.
