Yangpu District gets its head around brain-like chips
A research center for brain-like computing chips was unveiled in Yangpu District on Tuesday, part of a national campaign to take the lead in AI.
The center for neuromorphic chips, those capable of processing and reacting to information in real time like the human brain, was launched at the Changyang Campus, an innovation park.
The incubator will be home to labs with the world's leading chip development systems and equipment as well as other services to reduce the research period and costs for the companies.
