Pudong enterprises get back to business in an orderly manner
Nearly 1,000 Pudong-based industrial enterprises with an annual income of 20 million yuan (US$2.84 million) and above have resumed operations, accounting for 66 percent of total output, according to Guan Xiaojun, deputy director of the Pudong New Area.
And 70 percent of e-commerce enterprises have resumed operations, providing important support for people’s livelihood during the epidemic, Guan said.
More than 85 percent of trade firms are also returning to work, while 80 percent of shopping malls and 40 supermarkets have opened their doors, he added.
