While many hotels are empty, one in the Pudong New Area is quite busy. During the epidemic, it is the No. 5 collective quarantine site of Pudong, where quarantine staff have replaced hotel personnel and people in quarantine have replaced guests.
So far, Pudong has converted 18 existing venues to quarantine sites for nearly 5,000 people returning from key affected countries and regions via the city’s two airports.
