Arrivals from key affected countries to cover own expenses under quarantine
People arriving from key coronavirus-affected countries who are quarantined at designated sites need to cover accommodation and meal fees themselves, the Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau said on Tuesday.
The accommodation charge is between 200 yuan (US$28) and 400 yuan per person daily, the bureau said.
"The city is in a key prevention period and home quarantine and health observation measures imposed at communities cannot be loosened; they must be stricter," said Zeng Qun, deputy director of the bureau.
