To prevent cross-infection of the novel coronavirus during the 3rd China International Import Expo, the city has strengthened management of 117 fever clinics in hospitals and 200 fever surveillance clinics at community-based health service centers, the Shanghai Health Commission said on Tuesday.
It said about 33,600 people had been quarantined for medical observation of the 838,000 people times had visited fever clinics since the outbreak.
All visitors should have their temperatures checked, show their health QR codes and undergo an epidemiological investigations before attending hospitals or health service centers, it said.
