The Shanghai Waigaoqiao Port Comprehensive Bonded Area was officially inaugurated recently, with the aim of building a good model for the new development of the national special supervision area.

At the inauguration meeting, eight major project agreements were signed, involving sea, land and air transportation, cross-border e-commerce import and export, high-end targeted investment, bonded automotive import and export industry chain services, biomedical supply chain services and other fields.
The Pudong New Area will make new breakthroughs in building functional innovation bridgehead, and enhance the logistics hub level, and the initial formation of the 1+1+3 (a special comprehensive bonded zone, a bonded area, three comprehensive bonded zones) pattern of Customs special supervision.
