Hongqiao International Hub gets major boost under new blueprint
Shanghai aims to complete the construction of the core area of the Hongqiao International Open Hub by 2025.
The city on Tuesday introduced a new plan on developing the central business district of the Hongqiao International Open Hub during the period of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025).
Covering 151 square kilometers, the Hongqiao international central business district, as Hongqiao's core area, is set to promote a "headquarters economy," gather high-end businesses, optimize its role as a transportation hub and create an innovative environment.
