The “Innovation and Development: Multinational Companies in Shanghai” summit is scheduled to be held at 1:30 pm on October 22 (Thursday) at KIC Auditorium (Building 7, KIC Plaza, 388 Songhu Road, Yangpu District).

The final result of a campaign launched in June to vote for best innovative practice cases by MNCs will be announced at the forum. Officials from the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, the Information Office of Shanghai Municipality and the Yangpu District government, representatives of MNCs and experts of Shanghai universities and research institutes will discuss on how the city moves ahead with its ambitious innovation plans.

During the tea break, reporters are invited to interview academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences He Lin, who chairs the jury panel, and senior executives of Covestro Greater China, Shui On Group and Siemens China.
