The 6th World Forum on China Studies—Shanghai Main Forum is to be held from 20 to 21 November in Shanghai. The event, hosted by the State Council Information Office and Shanghai Municipal People’s Government and organized in collaboration by Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences and the Information Office of Shanghai Municipality, is a scholastic forum with a high caliber, an all-round nature and great openness. The forum is designed to provide a dialogue channel and communication platform for domestic and overseas China studies, mirror the dynamics and trend of China studies, inspire idea innovation, promote the integration of different schools of thought, enhance the mutual understanding between China and the rest of the world and build a China studies network with global influence.
