Where is China’s economy heading in 2017? In which sectors will Shanghai further deepen its open-up and reforms as a major economic hub in China? The China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, the city’s construction of a technology and innovation center, its supply-side reforms....what kind of topics will be the most appealing to the press? As Shanghai has evolved into a mega city with a population of nearly 25 million, what will be journalists’ specific focus regarding some “Shanghai-style” approaches taken by the local government to deal with issues in areas such as city governance, urban traffic, food safety, environmental protection and social livelihood?
