Media Salon: China's One Belt One Road Intiative and Shanghai's Role in it

Dear Journalists,

A Media Salon themed on “China’s ‘One Belt, One Road’ initiative and the role of Shanghai” will be held at 14:00, March 30th (Thursday) at Kuke Coffee Shop at the first floor of the Main Building of SASS(No.7, Lane 622 Huaihai Middle Road). SASS(Shanghai Academy of Social Science) is a well-known think Tank based in Shanghai. Experts in the related field will be invited to interchange with journalists on China’s OBOR and how Shanghai will work in China’s modernization and opening-up to the world.

The working language is Chinese. You may bring an assistant or you may contact us for interpreting assistance if you have any language problem.

Wang Zhen: Researcher, Associate dean of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. Now he is in charge of OBOR Information website of SASS. His main research fields are Industrial Economics, Talent Strategy and Policy, SMEs(Small and Medium Enterprises),Economic Development of Yangtze River Delta and Yangtze Economic Zone.

Shen Yuliang: Researcher of Institute of World Economics of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. His main research field is International Trade Theory and Policy. He makes solid progress in the research of Shanghai Free Trade Zone. He was in charge of the key subject called “Analysis on the new trend of global digital trade rules and China’s Countermeasures” commissioned by Ministry of Commerce.
