2017 Shanghai International Film & TV Festival, sponsored by SARFT and the People's Government of Shanghai Municipality, will take place from June 12 to June 26. In this period, the 23rd Shanghai TV Festival will be held from June 12 to 16 while the 20th Shanghai International Film Festival will be held from June 17 to 26.

As a grand TV event with extensive influence in Asia, Shanghai TV Festival (STVF) will roll out the showcase of Chinese and overseas TV series, selection and appraisal of TV series and TV programs for Magnolia Awards, TV Market, STVFORUM, Magnolia Awards Ceremony and a red carpet show. STVF will arrange diverse activities with splendid contents to attract TV professionals at home and abroad for the exchange of works, insights, techniques, creation and filming.

Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) is one of the 15 FIAPF-accredited competitive feature film festivals throughout the world and the only Class A international film festival in China. The events held during SIFF include the grand opening and closing ceremonies and red carpet show, the review and awarding ceremony for Golden Goblet Awards, Shanghai International Film Festival Panorama, SIFFORUM, Film Market, I-SIFF, and Jackie Chan Action Movie Week, to name just a few. The global solicitation of films of 2017 Shanghai International Film Festival has attracted the registration of 2,528 films from 106 countries. By May 18, 8 films from the US, Romania, Poland, Russia, the UK, Germany, China and Japan have been shortlisted for Golden Goblet Awards. The rest 6 to 7 shortlisted films will be announced in early June.

The star-studded SIFF and STVF will serve as a gathering ground for distinguished guests and celebrities with abundant information and activities. STVF: log in www.stvf.com, find “Journalist Registration” on the home page, fill in the forms as instructed and submit materials.

SIFF: log in www.siff.com, click “Registration·Submission” on the navigation bars of the home page for “Journalist Registration” and fill in the forms as instructed and submit materials.
