Based on the life in exile of Jewish refugees in Shanghai between the 1930s and the 1940s, SHIMMERtells a vivid story that the displaced refugees lived with Shanghai people during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression through thick and thin in the musical form for the first time.

The producer Shanghai Heng Yuan Xiang Theatrical Development Co., Ltd.will enter into an agreement with Nederlander Worldwide Entertainment for SHIMMER as a start that the original musical from China exports copyrights to Broadway for a two-year residency.
