A municipal government press briefing is scheduled to be held at 14:00, December 30 (Tuesday) in the municipal press briefing room on 5th Floor, Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, 100 Renmin Avenue. Officials from the Publicity Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism, the Shanghai Administration of Sports, as well as Pudong New Area, Huangpu District and Jing’an District will attend the event. They will introduce the themed activities for the 2026 New Year celebrations and answer questions from reporters. After the briefing, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce will arrange for selected enterprises to give interviews to the press.
