Shanghai has recently issued the Notice on Key Initiatives for Advancing the “Ten Breakthrough Tasks” to Optimize the Business Environment in 2026. A municipal government press briefing is scheduled to be held at 10:30, May 7 (Thursday) in the municipal press briefing room on 5th Floor, Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, 100 Renmin Avenue. Officials from the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the General Office of the Shanghai Municipal Government, the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Public Security, and the Shanghai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation will brief the media on the key “Ten Breakthrough Tasks” for optimizing the business environment in 2026 and answer questions from reporters. Following the briefing, selected representatives from enterprises and institutions will be available for interviews.
