The 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) and High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance will be held in Shanghai from July 17 to 20, 2026.
A municipal government press briefing is scheduled to be held at 10:00, July 7 (Tuesday) in the municipal press briefing room on 5th Floor, Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, 100 Renmin Avenue.
Senior city officials, together with officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, and Donghao Lansheng Group will brief the media on the latest preparations for the conference and answer questions from reporters.
Please register by 12:00, July 6 (Monday). Please present this interview notice together with a valid ID for entry.
