July 27, 2026 marks the 100-day countdown to the opening of the ninth China International Import Expo (CIIE). A press briefing on the preparations for the ninth CIIE will be held at 14:00, July 27 (Monday) at Meeting Room A002, 3/F, Building A, National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) (1988, Zhuguang Road, Qingpu District). Officials from the Office of the Leading Group for City Services and Support in Shanghai, China International Import Expo Bureau, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, and other relevant city services and supporting departments will attend the briefing to introduce the latest progress in preparations for the ninth CIIE and answer questions from the media.
On the same day, a series of events will also be held, including the theme session announcement and interpretation meeting for the ninth Hongqiao International Economic and Trade Forum, the Shanghai roadshow for the ninth CIIE business matchmaking campaign, the launch ceremony for the 10th CIIE exhibitor recruitment, and a promotional event for foreign consuls general in Shanghai and CIIE exhibition organizers. Media interviews will also be arranged.
