The 2018 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the 20th China International Industry Fair will be held in Shanghai this September. To make overall arrangements for the conferences’ news reporting work and achieve better organization effect, we now notify reporters of interview registration matters as follows:

I. The 2018 World Artificial Intelligence Conference

The 2018 World Artificial Intelligence Conference will open in West Bund, Shanghai from Sept. 17, 2018 to Sept. 19, 2018.

Focused in the theme that “AI energizes New Age” and following the guideline that “being high-end, international, professional and marketized”, the 2018 World Artificial Intelligence Conference will consist of four parts: forum summit, featured activities, application displays as well as innovation contests, with the conference model that combines production, researches, application and investments together being highlighted.

Some renowned politicians, famous scholars in academic circles and representatives of leading enterprises from home and abroad will attend the plenary meeting and almost 20 theme forums. Ten top scientists (including a Turing Award winner) in the circle of AI, fifty academicians, one hundred CEOs of leading enterprises, one hundred youth specialists as well as more than 1,000 innovative enterprises will be present at the exposition. The venue will create a batch of immersed experiences that have characteristics of being integrated, diverse and regional, offering seven “AI+” theme experiences in the field of traffic, health, education, retail, service, intelligent manufacturing, finance and so on. In addition, at the opening ceremony a series of policies will be issued and important cooperation projects will be signed.

II. The 20th China International Industry Fair

The 20th China International Industry Fair will be held in National Exhibition and Convention Center (No. 333, Songze Road of Qingpu district, Shanghai) from Sept. 19, 2018 to Sept. 23, 2018.

The 20th China International Industry Fair, themed on “Innovation, Intelligence and Green”, will focus on accelerating the development of advanced manufacturing industry and promoting the deep integration of internet, big data, AI and the real economy. It aims to set up a demonstration, communication and trade platform for intelligent manufacturing, green manufacturing and high-end manufacturing, boost the national development of intelligent manufacturing, foster new growth drivers, and seize the key elements in the new economy. At the time of its 20th anniversary, CIIF will hold an opening ceremony & awarding ceremony, and endeavor to hold the 40 Years of Reform and Opening-up International Manufacturing Cooperation Summit, the Innovation and Emerging Industry Development Conference, the 2018 World Intelligent Connected Vehicle Conference and other major activities. The total venue that covers an area of about 280,000 square meters will accommodate more than 2,500 exhibitors and attract over 160,000 professional audiences.

III. Reporters’ Registration Matters

We sincerely welcome the participation of reporters. Reporters that attend the 2018 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and The 20th China International Industry Fair should have valid press cards conferred by General Administration of Press and Publication. Foreign reporters should have resident correspondent certifications or valid journalist visas. All enrolled reporters should fill the receipt before August 31, and submit press cards and 1-inch or 2-inch photos (electronic version).
