A home-grown drug for treating Alzheimer’s disease received approval yesterday (November 2) from the National Medical Products Administration to hit the market. A press conference on the drug, GV-971, will be held at 14:15 on November 3 (Sunday) at the Shanghai Municipal Government Press Conference Hall (5/F, Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, 100 People’s Avenue). Officials from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai Municipal Government and the research and development team of GV-971 will brief journalists about the new drug.
