When human hoisted sails of exploration and dreamed to cross blue oceans over wide waves, hundreds of new sea routes connected uncharted continents and composed out a magnificent scroll of navigation. China Maritime Museum invites you to tour beyond time and space to experience the eternal charm of the grand navigation era.

The Museum occupies a floor area of 46434 square meters. It built on the versatile exhibition and with maritime as the mainstream, which is divided into six exhibition halls, respectively the Hall of Chinese Navigation History, the Hall of Ships, the Hall of Navigation and Ports, the Hall of Maritime Affairs and Sea Safety, the Hall of Seafarers and the Hall of Navy. Besides, there are two specific exhibition areas for Fishery and Marine Sports & Recreation, as well as the spherical planetarium, the 4D Movie Theater and Children’s Center, covering historic heritage collection, academic research, social education, display & exhibition and other relevant fields.

In addition, Yogi Bear 4-D Adventure released officially from August 1, 2012 on the 3D screen will stimulate the senses of the audiences in an all-around way. With intricate plots, the audiences will surely be immersive thanks to its amazing sound and lighting effects and images.
