Dear reporters,

We plan to invite Chinese and foreign reporters to join us on an interview tour to Zhangyan Village in Qingpu District and Hongqiao Community in Changning District on the themes of the “15-minute life circle” and “full-process democracy” respectively on September 10 (Friday). The tour will be divided into two parts, namely the “15-minute life circle” that reflects how Shanghai strives to develop a city for its residents, and the practice of “full-process democracy” in grassroots communities, such as autonomy and co-governance, grassroots legislation, and participation in the deliberation and administration of state affairs (Please refer to the annex for the agenda).

Please send the registration receipt to touchshanghai@126.com by 3:00 pm on September 9 (Thursday). Due to the needs for epidemic prevention and control, on-site reporters will be approved on a first-come-first-served basis. Reporters are requested to gather at No. 200, Renmin Avenue (West Gate, the Shanghai Municipal Government) at 12:30 on September 10 (Friday) and take the shuttle bus. Please wear a mask throughout the journey, and show the Health QR Code and Travel History Code before getting on the bus. If you have travelled to or lived in the areas of concern in the past 14 days or have a cold or fever, please do not participate in this interview.
