Notice on the registration of journalists for the 9th World Forum on China Studies

The 9th World Forum on China Studies will be held at the Shanghai International Convention Center from October 18 to 19 this year. The World Forum on China Studies is co-sponsored by the Information Office of the State Council and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government. It aims to provide a dialogue and exchange platform for the research communities on China studies at home and abroad and enhance mutual understanding between China and the world. With the theme of “The Communist Party of China, China, and the World”, this forum will discuss China’s future development from the perspectives of politics, economy, culture, society and international relations. In order to help journalists register for the forum, the relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
1. Registration requirements: According to the requirements of the forum’s organizing committee, forum staff (including media reporters) must have completed taking the Covid-19 vaccine. They and their family members (or people who live together with them) must not have a history of residence in high-risk areas or overseas within 21 days before the forum. They have to hold a negative nucleic acid test report issued within 48 hours prior to the forum.
2. Registration channel: Please fill out the registration form (attached), and send it to touchshanghai@126.com before 16:00 on October 13 (Wednesday) together with your personal ID photo (marked with your name). Contact: Liu Yijie 13023256550
3. Nucleic acid testing: Testing services are provided between 12:30 and 18:30 on October 17 (Sunday) on the left side of Gate 3 on the 1st floor of Oriental Riverside Bund View Hotel (2727, Binjiang Avenue, Pudong New Area). Contact: Ma Lei 13916444485
4. Fetching your reporter pass: You can fetch your reporter pass at the forum’s media registration desk on the 1st floor of the Shanghai International Convention Center (2727, Binjiang Avenue, Pudong New Area) on 13:30-14:30, October 18 (Monday), with a negative nucleic acid test report, health commitment letter, heath examination form and ID card.
