In recent years, “Goodness Economy” has become a more and more popular term in the field of charity and public welfare. Liu Guohong, Yu Lingqu1, Wang Zhenyao2, etc. have gradually reached a consensus that we should protect the natural environment while boosting the economy, seek sustainable development through circular economy and green economy, and obtain benefits through benefiting others, that is, enterprises should not take profit as the main driving force. Instead, they should build a harmonious and friendly social environment through charity actions. Therefore, in practice, new economic modes of charity finance such as social enterprises, investment in influence, time bank, charitable markets, and charity trust have been launched in Shanghai, further integrating commerce and charity, and enriching the relationship between goodness and benefit, a long-term debate in Chinese civilization. The conflict between goodness and benefit has been eased and replaced by a balanced status. To effectively build a “warm” financial capital and avoid the impact of financial risks on charity credibility, we should work hard from the following aspects: First, encourage enterprises to assume corporate social responsibility (CSR) and solve social problems by means of social innovation. For example, Shanghai’s buy42, an online charity store, has created a new O2O charity model of “e-commerce + charity store.” Advocating “everything has its value”, buy42 encourages people to donate idle goods to it for online charity sale, and helps 80 million disabled people with job training and counseling, thus helping them live a social life. At present, it has 25,363 members and 5 charity bases3, and has donated 6,168,624 yuan and held 82 charity events. The Charity Trust of Shanghai Charity Foundation has played a role in promoting enterprises to undertake corporate social responsibility by sponsoring events such as “Deep Love under the Blue Sky - CSR in Action.” The Pleasure of Music Fund Trust under the SH Philanthropy Series, Shanghai International Trust has been financing high-end art events and is committed to the promotion and inheritance of Shanghai style culture. Second, foster the spirit of volunteering, form cross-border cooperation between government departments, enterprises, social organizations and universities, and build Shanghai into a city of charity and humanity. At present, 4,237 charity bases have been built in Shanghai, with 35,959 participants and 7,8164 charity posts. Citizens have actively participated in voluntary activities and received “Charity Certificate” for that. Drawing from some Western practices, some communities have tried out mutual aid models such as the “Time Bank” to put them into trial operation in terms of elderly care. People now can exchange “time” with services to realize mutual aid and build an intelligent elderly care community, thus solving social problems in a socialized and marketing way. Third, build the mechanism for prevention and control of charity financial risks. While combining goodness with benefit, Goodness Economy may face the risk that charity is overwhelmed by benefit and finance. In order to maintain the credit of charity, it is necessary to be vigilant about the risk of any loss and any improper related transactions in the process of value -maintaining and -adding of charity assets, thereby optimizing the advantages of charity finance, highlighting the “loving” charm of Shanghai and making the city a warmer place.
