Be at your shiny best for 5km Electric Run - October 24, 2014

世博公园电跑11月来袭

ELECTRIC Run is coming to Shanghai. The 5-kilometer night run/walk is designed to be fun and colorful with all participants becoming a huge part of the show.

Zebra Media is bringing the “world’s brightest 5km” to Shanghai at Expo Park on November 8. Organizers will set up 10 LED course lands along the Huangpu River that transport the mind, body and soul to a new world in a healthy and drug-free way, according to electricrun.com.

The course lands include Under the Sea, Electro Rainforest and Electric Avenue.

Electric Run icon Stickman will run and dance with participants to help ensure everyone is having a good time.

After finishing the run/walk, hang out and dance the night away as several DJs including Anna Lunoe, pump up the volume.

China’s leading electro musician duo, Dumb Plants and Ben Huang, one of the first ever Chinese DJs to break into the international scene, will also appear. Huang is a three-time winner of City Weekend’s Best Shanghai Based DJ award.

Participants are encouraged to join in on the art by lighting up with glow sticks, wearing anything that sparkles or shines and anything else their imagination can conjure up, according to electricrun.com.
