WORLD Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo will be in Shanghai this week to promote a fitness product for the Chinese market, according to the product’s manufacturer MTG and its local sales partner Thakral China.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker has a huge fan base in Shanghai, and the Japanese cosmetology equipment manufacturer is flying him down specially for the launch of the product.

Ronaldo reportedly was involved in the product’s development as well, and has been using it in his personal training regime regularly.
