上海国际芭蕾舞比赛明年恢复举办   2015-12-04

 

The Shanghai International Ballet Competition will restart next year since its suspension in 2007.

Initiated in 1995, the Competition had been held four times before 2007, with participation of dancers home and abroad. The fifth Competition will be launched from August 3-11 next year at Shanghai Grand Theater, while dancers can sign up for the competition till April 15.

The dancers aging 16-18 are expected to sign up for the Teenage Group while those over 19 should sign up for Adult Group. About 20 prizes will be given with awards ranging from US$1,000 to US$30,000.
