Nearly 70 percent of demonstration enterprises in the Shanghai International Trade Distribution Center&\\;nbsp\\;are in bonded areas, according to a list published by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce recently.The presence of 41 enterprises in the bonded areas demonstrates&\\;nbsp\\;the latter’s advantage in international trade. The international trade distribution business refers to the trade format in which international trade enterprises build or lease sites inside and outside the special customs supervision area, and use bonded logistics for import and export as the main method.In 2021, the total import and export volume of bonded areas reached&\\;nbsp\\;1,127.77 billion yuan&\\;nbsp\\;(US$173.38 billion), an increase of 11.6 percent over 2020, and accounting for 27.8 percent of the city’s total.
