中国最大的服装轻工业交易会本周开幕 2023-07-09

The East China Fair, China's largest import and export trade fair for textiles, apparel and light industrial products, will get underway in Shanghai on July 12.
Some 33,000 Chinese and foreign buyers are expected to attend the expo, which will take place as a physical event for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic from July 12 to July 15, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce said today.
Covering 105,200 square meters, the fair boasts 5,234 booths and 3,299 exhibitors including 234 foreign companies from 11 different countries. Apparel and accessories, fabrics, household products and decorative gifts will all go on show in themed display areas. There are also two special zones for overseas products and cross-border e-commerce.
There will also be six procurement matchmaking meetings at the expo, which is co-organized by nine provincial-level regions, namely Shanghai as well as eastern Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi and Shandong provinces.
There will be four offline sessions with buyers from 34 countries and regions including Japan, Russia, Germany, India and Pakistan. There will also be two online sessions for members of the world’s largest trade pact, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, and for European nations and the US attended by buyers from 21 countries such as Singapore, Russia, Vietnam, Malaysia and South Korea.
