The Inclusion Conference on the Bund kicks off in Shanghai on September 7.
The Inclusion Conference on the Bund, centered on the theme of "Technology for a sustainable future," kicked off in Shanghai last Thursday. This three-day conference aims to foster exploration of technology in cutting-edge fields.
Spanning 8,000 square meters, the exhibition area showcases groundbreaking advancements in artificial intelligence, blockchain, privacy computing and 6G. From brainwave identification to facial recognition for pets and rural revitalization, visitors are provided with an immersive experience that demonstrates how digital technology can facilitate everyday life.
By wearing a specially designed helmet, one can experience brainwave identification at the exhibition. Visitors can also experience password input based on steady-state visual stimulation, achieve visual and password recognition through corresponding brainwave generation, and experience seamless identification in brain-machine identity recognition, ensuring privacy protection throughout the process.
At the pet exhibition booth, the Global Times saw cats and dogs of different sizes and appearances and their breed, age, and health condition can be identified with AI. When any health issues are detected in the pets, AI can also provide intelligent online consultation services for their owners. According to the staffers on site, this set of online pet consultation services can currently cover over 92 percent of common diseases in cats and dogs.
MYBANK showcased a satellite remote sensing risk control system, which addresses the loan problems that have been plaguing farmers. The satellite used by the system can identify the crop area, type, and growth status of the fields, providing a basis for loans. Combined with digital risk control models, it offers credit support to farmers.
Unmanned drone company XAG displayed a drone called P100 Pro. With a maximum flight speed of 13.8 meters per second, it can accurately and efficiently perform tasks such as agricultural field mapping, pesticide spraying, and fertilizer spreading.
In addition to exhibitions, nearly 20 academicians, Nobel Prize and Turing Award winners from both China and abroad, as well as over 500 influential technology leaders, entrepreneurs, and expert scholars from around the world, will gather for a discussion of ideas in science, technology, humanities, and industry during the conference.
