“我心中的上海”全球创意设计征集海外推广在丹麦开启 2023-11-13

The "Shanghai in My Mind", activity to collect pieces from designers and creatives from different parts of the world to express Shanghai in various art forms, arrived in Denmark's Copenhagen on Nov 10.
Shanghai in My Mind, a project aimed at promoting Shanghai's image around the world, arrived in Denmark's Copenhagen on Nov 10 following its launch two days earlier in Shanghai.
The project involves inviting designers from around the world to create works that encapsulate the charm of Shanghai.
Copenhagen, which was designated as the World Capital of Architecture for 2023 by UNESCO in July, is the first overseas stop where organizers will extend their invitations to international designers.
The Copenhagen event will run for 90 days and feature art works created by nine designers from Denmark, France, Italy, Japan and China. The selected art works depict the latest scenes of Shanghai and feature a blend of vivid real-life scenes and artistic creations that allow audiences to better understand Shanghai from various perspectives.

Visitors enjoy the art works showcased at the exhibition during the activity launching ceremony in Copenhagen on Nov 10.
"The relationship between Denmark and China is reaching new heights, and the art exchanges have continuously enhanced the integrated development of the two nations," said Jeppe Sebastian Kofod, former minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, during the launch ceremony.
"Copenhagen is the capital of art of in northern Europe and citizens here have a high aesthetic demand for art, while Shanghai is a metropolis deeply connected to the world with strong innovation. Shanghai was designated by UNESCO as the City of Design, and Copenhagen was selected by UNESCO as the World Capital of Architecture in 2023 - it is the right time for the two cities to work together," he added.
Kofod also expressed hope that the two nations will create more opportunities for cultural and artistic exchanges in the future.
